The americanization of the world following the growing power of the United States has resulted into the adoption of a model commonly defined as ‘the American way of life.’ Those who adopt such a stereotype are unaware of their quite superficial approach to a complex situation. Practising a comfortable anti-Americanism too many fail to recognize and fight the causes of a dangerous and chaotic drift towards disaster which has already been threatening the world for some time and which can only be avoided by understanding and opposing the current processes of globalization.
